Application

• Antimony Pentoxide Colloid widely used as flame retardant additive for PVC, fabric, plastic,rubber and fiber
• To compare with ATO, APO has advantages below on FR performances.
• 1.Better penetration of the substrate. 
• 2.Less pigmenting or whitening effect for deep mass tone colors. 
• 3.Easier handling and processing. Liquid dispersions will not clog spray guns. 
• 4.Translucency for coatings, films and laminates. 
• 5.Easy compounding; no special dispersing equipment required. 
• 6.High FR efficiency for minimal added weight or change in hand..

 

• It is used as metal passivator in FCC of oil refining industry, such as nickel, Vanadium. 
• APO is an aqueous anionic colloidal dispersion of antimony pentoxide in water. The particle size of the pentoxide is 5 nm (0.005µm). 
• This colloid item is extremely stable and will not settle under normal conditions. It is therefore an ideal system to be metered into an oil stream and be assured of consistent antimony concentration.
